But by selecting the right meats, vegetables, and snacks cooking and snacking while on the keto diet can be rather simple. To help you carefully stock your shopping cart with some keto-safe options, we spoke to experts about some healthy keto-friendly food choices that will provide your body with healthy fats. Below are some of the food items they recommend writing down on your next grocery shopping list. 1/ Make sure you select high-quality proteins and fats. Make sure your protein is high quality. They’re packed with protein and make a great, easy breakfast. 8/ Riced cauliflower is a perfect keto-safe swap. Riced cauliflower is able to add veggies to your meal. Olive oil is keto friendly. dulezidar/iStock “Unsaturated fats still have the most science behind them for heart health, so I recommend using oils like olive oil and toasted sesame oil as they can add a nice flavor to dressings,” Yule told INSIDER. 10/ Zucchini is the perfect pasta alternative Zucchini pasta is a good keto alternative.
